Me,Maiden and the Gigs.

Back in 2003 when I started listening to Metal, Maiden was the band I was very much hooked upon. I can very much say Maiden got me into Metal! I had even bought their then latest album ( Dance Of Death) and had listened to it so many times. Later I started exploring their earlier albums. Loving each album, each listen gave me a new feeling. It was like discovering something which you never expected and getting utmost pleasure out of it and feeling glad you found it. Hard to describe that feeling. Every time I'd think this is the ultimate joy I'd ever get but I'd always end up discovering new pleasures, each time reaching different heights and Maiden was the vehicle which took me there! I can never forget those days, discovering new music, falling in love with different genre but maiden was always there.

Back then I had not even dreamt that I'd see Iron Maiden live in a concert. well, it was impossible. No Good Metal band had played before in my city. Never had it come to my mind also. But today, 5 years since I started listening to maiden, I can't believe I've seen them Live twice already and i'll be seeing them again on the Feb 16th at Palace Grounds, Bangalore. I'll be catching Maiden on their second leg of their on going world tour "Somewhere Back In Time". I'm so lucky to be a part of both the legs! Yup had been to Mumbai last year to see maiden! Well, I don't mind seeing them 100 times!

Over the last couple of years I've seen some of my favorite bands Live. Saw Megadeth, Satyricon, Machine head within a span of one year. I guess this year there is so much to look forward. Starting from Maiden in Feb that is! Also I'm happy to know that Judas Priest are keen to come here! ( Rolling Stones India). I just hope I get to attend a lot of great gigs this year. I love going to concerts! I am not the kind of person who tries to see too much further in his future, but I'm such a person who is satisfied with all the little things in his hand at present. For me the next big thing is Iron Maiden concert in February. I just can't wait. Come this February I'll be all Psyched about maiden and I'm sure I'll get back the pleasure (which is long lost now for whatever reasons) which once I'd got from the Music and nothing can take it away!

It's 7:46 AM and I'm sitting here in front of the comp nothing to bother me, hot coffee waiting to be consumed. If not here at this moment I'd have been in the bus stand or walking towards the bus stand ( Usually I have to catch bus at around this time to reach college at 9). Either ways one thing would have been certain..I'd be listening to Coming Back To Life, the place doesn't matter. Really, the place doesn't matter at all but the mood does matters, so are the thoughts that come to my mind does. More or less I'll always be in this frame of mind. Thinking about something that is of not much importance, planing to do something which might not be feasable to do at all. The thoughts never go beyond myself and my interests except that these days i'm thinking too much about the project work to be done. I just think, you know, nothing else i do, everything else falls into the place by themselves. So in this case too i'm hoping everything will sort out by itself. What I really want to say is i do not think too much about the thinks that needs to be considered (untill it completely comes to my neck!) rather i only spend time thinking of those things which either elates my mind or think of a way to overcome the obstacle to make myself happy.

Whatever, Coming back to life and High Hopes are the songs that I'd like to listen at any point of time. Such wonderful songs they are. These songs take me away into a completly differnt world, a place where only my thoughts matter and nothing else. Thats when I realize I love myself so much. Thats when I realize I've no regrets for my deeds. Thats when I realize I can do whatever I want and take whatever path my mind wish to and reach wherever my thoughts ask me to go!

What compelled me to post this now? Well, I was listening to Pink Floyd while bathing today. It just took me away completely and made me forget everything for a little while. Never i have had a shower listening to Floyd. It was an awesome experience, maybe you should try it too! This piece of writing which I had written long back came to my mind and i decided to post! :|

Did some editing work for what I had written long back. I am sure I have depicted my state of mind on that day perfectly. It feels so nice to just think about that feeling. I'll listen to that song now!

This situation which I'm in now is awful.
Don't feel like doing anything. Absolutely not interested in anyone or anything.
My mind is a traitor, It tricks Me. It takes me into a sense of nothingness
where there is no hope whatsoever
And whatever I do it makes me feel that I'm a loser.
A worthless Human Being i am, It reminds Me...

But I care the least, things around Me, My false mind bears no importance to me.
I wont let my mind conquer me. For I know I'm way too better than all these and no false hope can get better of Me.

ok...I bought this album last week and guess what i have heard it like 10 times or so...I have just one word to say AWESOME!Some of my friends had told me that this album sounds just like last two albums(BNW and DOD),To Hell with them they haven't heard this album! Some riffs resembles Somewhere in time,thoughThis record is different! There are some elements in this album which are differnt,Unique,good which makes this album a good one,Oh well this is maiden!There's always somethin new in their work..watsay?

3)Lord of Light.
4)Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg.
5)Different World.

These 5 songs Rocks and other 5?Well,this is my top 5! They say this album is Progressive,What does progressive means?hey i dont know wat prg means but all i can say is when you listen this album it kind of builds up...there are some real good riffs,of course! vox at its best..thats what i can say...

Lyrically all songs are top class and musically this is one hellova album...No more comments from ma side...

The Legacy is the best song in this album.For sure..great piece of music...I am completely in love with this album.350 rs worth! This one will emerge out as one of their best works till date...
This album is for those who like HEAVY Metal and maiden...and for those who want to listen to some real musick.....
10 outa 10..Thought of giving it 9 but wat the hell? This album is good and it deserves a 10!
